Musselburgh dropped three points from a winning position today as Dundonald came back from 2 goals down at half time. Goals in the first half from Paul Tansey following a short pass back and a fantastic control and volley goal from Chris King 20 yards out put the home side in cruise control but the second half seen the visitors storm back. Bluebell captain Shaun Greig converting the first penalty, Burgh then switched off as Greig found Caithness who turned and chipped for Gilfillan who levelled. Another penalty 15 minutes from time Morgan fouled and he converted the resulting kick.

The home players gave their all but getting the squad fit is proving difficult again this team playing together for the first time, Dundonald too though with only 6 players in the 17 who played the last time the teams met and only 3 took part in the opening game against Bo'ness.

A word on the referee who although cant be blamed for the score, missed three penalties for the home team, aloud a visiting goalkeeper to make more dives than the Austrailian womans swimming team, and to be honest if he has given two suspect penalties and only produced a yellow card despite the defender being the last man on both occations and yet gave a red card for a foul in midfield on the half way line. There was also a hand ball in the build up to the first Dundonald goal and he seemed to miss the clear fouls on the edge of the Dundonald box in the second half. A shame as he let play flow in the first half but lost the plot and missed too much especially from Musselburgh corners where it now seems you can put 2 hands on a player push him over then punch the bal away.

For Musselburgh its the third 2-0 lead that has become a 3-2 defeat this season and have lost 17 points from a winning position, hopefully though many of the guys at todays game will recover from injuries in time for next week
