Time running out - but we still have the cups!

Realistically, we must now fully focus on the cup competitions, since we have had some admirable performances in cups this season, while the league is long gone. These competitions serve an important purpose for a team like Musselburgh, with aspirations of gaining promotion to the superleague, since they have provided stern tests against the big boys, and more often than not, the Burgh have passed these tests.
Nevertheless, lessons need to be learned this season from league performances; throwing away leads and indiscipline has developed into a dangerous culture at the club. While I’m sure David is doing all he can to address these issues, ultimately, the responsibility to control oneself is up to each and every player on the park. Moreover, the leaders and experienced players in the team need to step up to the plate and ensure the younger boys don’t switch off during the match.
If we can address these issus and if we can keep the nucleus of our talented pool of players together, then next season may well be interesting.

Comment: The club has to start a fresh next season the chairman has to step down and let somebody in who knows how to look after the players and run the club as it should be run!!!Players gettin payed etc..I hear there is NO active committee at the club,that is not good..I have been going along to follow the club for 4 years now and we are still stuck in a groove..We need a big change and in my opinion thats the way to go.
Lets get the club run as it should be and the guys will perform for us!The
